Kilbraugh

The site of Kilbraugh church and graveyard is situated approximately two miles east of Ballysloe village and a short distance from the Clonimiklon crossroad.  It is said to have been consecrated in the time of Saint Patrick making it older than both Kilcooley and Aglish.  There are several little mounds of rocks where the church is said to have stood. The site was formally used for burials.  An old road is said to have passed by this site, but if so, it has not been used for many years.
